Welcome to Sunny Valley Adventures. We have a great set of books that teach the 10 Commandments. You might ask, "Is it important to know them?"

 

God gave them to His children, Israel. They were the great, great grandchildren of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He set them free from slavery in Egypt in order to birth and bless them as a nation. He wrote them in stone and taught them to Israel that day. He said to impress them on their hearts and souls and to teach them to their children, talking about them in their homes, when they left home, when they lied down and rose up. Now as a part of our "New Covenant" in Jesus, God wants them written on our hearts and minds.

 

Hebrews 8:8-12 (NASB) “BEHOLD, DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD,

WHEN I WILL EFFECT A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH; 9 NOT LIKE THE COVENANT WHICH I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS ON THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; FOR THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DID NOT CARE FOR THEM, SAYS THE LORD. 10 “FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.11 “AND THEY SHALL NOT TEACH EVERYONE HIS FELLOW CITIZEN, AND EVERYONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, ‘KNOW THE LORD,’ FOR ALL WILL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST OF THEM. 12 “FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR INIQUITIES, AND I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE.”

God's plan for life is to live with Him by faith. Knowing and understanding His Commandments at an early age instills the right moral foundation for life's decisions. The best decision begins with putting our faith in Jesus. We hope these books will be a great blessing to you and your family.
